This is a comprehensive accelerated Russian language programme designed specifically for international students who need to reach a confident level of language proficiency (from beginner A0 to threshold B1) in a short period. The course covers all aspects of the language: phonetics, grammar, vocabulary, as well as the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. It is ideal for preparing for admission to Russian universities, as well as for professional or personal adaptation in a Russian-speaking environment.

The programme aims to rapidly improve Russian language proficiency from beginner (A0) to threshold (B1) level for successful academic and everyday communication.
The programme includes:
• Comprehensive study of all language aspects: phonetics, grammar, vocabulary

• Communication in academic, professional and everyday situations
• Development of cultural knowledge about Russia

The programme lasts 6 months (400 academic hours) and is conducted in person on the HSE University campus in St. Petersburg or in a fully distance learning format.
